Nearest Town: Kintore, Aberdeenshire

Directions: Take the B977 from Kintore to Dunecht. After crossing the A96, you will go straight across a roundabout. Shortly after, take the right turn for Leylodge. The stones are on the right, after the first overhead electricity wires, but before you reach the second set. Park on quiet lane.

Site Notes: Only the recumbent and flankers are visible at this site. Were the other stones removed? Were they ever there in the first place? The site has not been surveyed so we can’t say for certain. The site is well worth visiting though, not least for the other standing stones (at least 6) which are present in the surrounding fields. Just come when the crops are not growing (unlike me).
